With the Ikebana series, I increased the scale of the pieces and
incorporated a ‘water feature’ by using rolled cast glass to
support the flowers. To make the rich pink color I fume 14K gold
onto white glass and then cover that with a clear layer to protect
the delicate surface A custom steel base hold the 21”H x 13”W x
5”D sculpture. |
